Evaristus (* im 1. Jahrhundert; † wahrscheinlich 105–107 in Rom) war fünfter Bischof von Rom (etwa 98–105). Im Catalogus Liberianus wird er Aristus genannt. Einzelne Nachrichten sind von Evaristus nicht bekannt. Laut dem Liber Pontificalis stammt er aus einer Familie griechischen Ursprungs, hatte aber einen jüdischen Vater aus Bethlehem. Er wurde während der Regierungszeit des römischen Kaisers Domitian in eine führende Stellung in die Gemeindeleitung gewählt.
