Évora o Ébora es una ciudad portuguesa, capital del distrito homónimo. Está situada en la región de Alentejo, comunidad intermunicipal del Alentejo Central, y cuenta con una población de 53 591 habitantes (2021). Évora es la única ciudad portuguesa miembro de la Red de ciudades más antiguas de Europa. Su término municipal es uno de los más grandes de Portugal, con 1307,08 km², y está subdividido en 12 freguesias. Es sede de Distrito y antigua diócesis y metrópoli eclesiástica (Archidiócesis de Évora). Su centro histórico, bien conservado, es uno de las más ricos en monumentos del país, lo que le vale el calificativo de "Ciudad-Museo". En 1986 fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco.
