★ 6.9Jack Costello is a retired cop and now private detective who lives in Miami, who handles a myriad of cases for unusual clients. At his side are old police buddy Sam Bosley and cartoonist-turned-amateur sleuth Jean Philippe Dumas, who is using Costello as an influence and has nicknamed the burly detective "Extralarge." In the second series, Costello faces other dangerous cases, again with Bosley and Archibald, the son of an old friend, who Costello amusingly nicknames "Dumas."

Zwei Supertypen in Miami (auch: Extralarge) ist eine zwölfteilige Fernsehserie, die von 1990 bis 1993 als Co-Produktion von RTL plus und RAI größtenteils in den USA gedreht wurde. Bud Spencer spielt die Hauptperson, den Privatdetektiv und ehemaligen Polizisten Jack Costello. Als sein Partner Dumas ist in der ersten Staffel Philip Michael Thomas, in der zweiten Staffel Michael Winslow zu sehen. Regie führte in der ersten Staffel Enzo G. Castellari, in der zweiten Staffel Alessandro Capone.
