Faucaria subintegra Faucaria tuberculosa Faucaria ist eine Pflanzengattung aus der Familie der Mittagsblumengewächse (Aizoaceae). Der botanische Name der Gattung leitet sich vom lateinischen Substantiv „faux“ für „Rachen“ ab und verweist auf die gezähnten Blätter der Gattung, die wie ein geöffneter, gezähnter Tierrachen aussehen.

Faucaria species are native to the Cape Province of South Africa and the Karoo Desert.
