Fernando Carlos Redondo Neri ( Spanish pronunciation: [feɾˈnando reˈðondo]; born 6 June 1969) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He most notably played for Real Madrid and AC Milan. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest defensive midfielders of all time.
