Fiona A. Harrison

Fiona Anne Harrison is an American astrophysicist, researcher, and university teacher. Born in Santa Monica in 1964, she holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree and speaks English. She is employed by the Space Sciences Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology. Her academic background includes studies at Dartmouth College and the University of California, Berkeley.

Harrison is a member of the American Physical Society, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the National Academy of Sciences. She has received the Bruno Rossi Prize and the Hans A. Bethe Prize, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Her notable work includes "Simultaneous X-ray and radio observations of the unusual binary LSI+613̊03."
