==Overview== Vaglaskógur, the second largest forest in Iceland, is located around the center of the valley. Other woods in Fnjóskadalur are Lundsskógur and Þórðarstaðaskógur south of Vaglaskógur, and Skuggabjargarskógur in Dalsmynni, the extreme northern portion of the valley.
