== Name == The name Fordo is derived from the Persian word ferdows (), meaning "paradise." The name Fordo is sometimes used to refer to the Fordow Uranium Enrichment Facility, a highly secure nuclear site operated by Iran. However, the actual Fordo village lies around 35–40 km south of Qom, while the enrichment facility is located roughly 30 km north of Qom.
