Fredmund Malik (*1944 in Lustenau, Austria) is an economist with a research focus on management science and the founder of a management consultancy in St.Gallen, Switzerland (see www.malik-mzsg.ch). In his works he uses approaches from systems theory as well as from cybernetics in order to analyse and design management systems.
