Fredrik Kempe, born in Vårgårda in 1972, is a Swedish songwriter and opera and pop singer. He has participated in Swedish versions of the musicals Les Misérables and Chess. In 2002, Kempe had a hit with Vincero, where he mixed opera and disco. In Melodifestivalen 2004, he performed his own song Finally, a tribute to his favourite composer Benny Andersson. Lars Fredrik Kempe, född 29 april 1972 i Vårgårda i dåvarande Älvsborgs län, är en svensk artist och låtskrivare, inom pop, opera, schlager och klassisk musik. Kempe har deltagit i Melodifestivalen två gånger som artist (2004 och 2005) och har lyckats få med bidrag som låtskrivare varje år 2007–2016. Den 26 januari presenterades han som ny jurymedlem i Idol 2016.
