Freepsum ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Krummhörn im Landkreis Aurich in Ostfriesland. Der Ort mit 381 Einwohnern (Stand: 31. Dezember 2012) liegt zirka zehn Kilometer nordwestlich der Seehafenstadt Emden. Die Haufensiedlung war früher eine selbständige Gemeinde. Heute bildet das Dorf einen der 19 Ortsteile der Krummhörn, wie die Gemeinde umgangssprachlich genannt wird.
