Fritz Reuter

Fritz Reuter, born Heinrich Ludwig Christian Friedrich Reuter on 1810-11-07 in Stavenhagen, was a male writer, painter, and draftsperson from the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. He worked in Neubrandenburg, Eisenach, Altentreptow, and Grudziądz, producing works in German and Low German. His professional activity spanned from 1830-01-01 to 1874-01-01.

Reuter was educated at the University of Rostock and received the Bavarian Maximilian Order for Science and Art. He died on 1874-07-12 in Eisenach, where he is buried. His archives are held at the Goethe and Schiller Archives.
