Born in Washington D.C. Gayle Adams was a stand up comedienne and a race car driver before becoming a disco diva whom is best known for her hit singles "Love Fever", "Stretchin' Out" and "Your Love Is A Lifesaver." She made two albums for the dance-oriented Prelude label in the early eighties which were written and produced for her by Washington DC producers Willie Lester and guitarist Rodney Brown.
