Parce que nous militons pour la liberté de chacun de choisir les voies de son épanouissement, nous œuvrons en faveur de l’égalité des droits des LGBTI en France, et luttons contre les discriminations dont ils sont l’objet. Nous sensibilisons les membres de notre famille politique à ces problématiques et ces discriminations, et leurs proposons les moyens d’intégrer, dans les discours et les actes, les éléments d’une politique juste et moderne sur ces sujets. A l’écart de tout communautarisme, nous travaillons dans un esprit républicain, humaniste, libéral, européen et laïc.

==History== The creation of GayLib was supported by Jean-Pierre Raffarin, Philippe Douste-Blazy, Alain Juppé, and François Baroin. In 2002, its members participated in the pride parade in Paris for the first time.
