Georg Caspar Wecker (1632–1695) was a German Baroque composer, organist, and teacher whose long career unfolded in the city of Nuremberg. Trained in Hamburg with Heinrich Scheidemann and later in Rome with Giacomo Carissimi, he absorbed both North German contrapuntal traditions and the expressive Italian concertato style.
