Gerry Goffin was the Oscar-nominated lyricist behind songs such as "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," and "Saving All My Love for You." He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, and received the Grammy Trustees Award for contributions to the field of recording in 2004.

Gerry Goffin (born Gerald Goffin, February 11, 1939, Brooklyn, New York; died 19 June 2014) was an American lyricist. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 with former songwriting partner and first wife, Carole King. During his career Goffin penned seven US Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers, and a total of 59 Top 40 hits.
