The Italian recorder player and conductor Giovanni Antonini (born 1965) studied flute and recorder in his native town Milan, attending the Civica Scuola di Musica and the Centre de Musique Ancienne in Geneva. Following his studies, Giovanni Antonini became a leading recorder soloist, and has appeared with Gustav Leonhardt, Christophe Coin, and Katia & Marielle Labèque.
