Gloria Lasso (born Rosa María Coscolin in Barcelona, November 25, 1922 - Cuernavaca, Mexico, December 4, 2005) was a French-Spanish singer. In the fifties, she was one of the major competitors to Dalida. She met success in the sixties, with in particular Amour, castagnettes et tango (1955), Etranger au paradis (1956), (a French version of Stranger in paradise by Tony Bennett, which was the first one-million copies record in France, or Buenas noches mi amor (1957), Bon voyage (1958). <a href="ht
