Bash (acronimo per bourne again shell) è una shell testuale del progetto GNU usata nei sistemi operativi Unix e Unix-like, come GNU/Linux. In macOS era la shell di default fino a macOS Mojave, mentre da macOS Catalina in poi è ancora presente ma non più come predefinita. Bash è disponibile anche per sistemi Microsoft Windows (vedi ad esempio Cygwin e msys/msys2 bash).
