Golden Earring was a Dutch rock band founded in 1961 in The Hague as the Tornados. They gained international recognition with hits such as "Radar Love" (1973), which reached number one on the Dutch chart, entered the top ten in the United Kingdom, and peaked at number thirteen in the United States, as well as "Twilight Zone" (1982) and "When the Lady Smiles" (1984).
