Die Gradiente (abgeleitet von Gradient ‚Steigung‘ respektive ‚Gefälle‘), in Österreich auch Nivellette, beschreibt im Straßen- und Eisenbahnbau den Höhenverlauf einer projektierten oder bestehenden Trasse im Bezug zum Streckenverlauf (Achse). Sie setzt sich aus geneigten Geraden (Längsneigung) sowie Kuppen- und Wannenausrundungen zusammen und wird im Höhenplan dargestellt.
