Jean Vanobbergen, né le 6 juillet 1936 à Bruxelles, est un chanteur mieux connu sous le pseudonyme Le Grand Jojo ou Lange Jojo chez les Néerlandophones. Jean Vanobbergen est tout d'abord un dessinateur publicitaire et dessinateur de bande dessinée. Il est par la suite disquaire et musicien. Jean réalise assez vite qu'il manque cruellement de chansons d'ambiance sur le marché de l'époque.
