Gresse
Sign in to savethumb|left|Church Gresse is a municipality in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. During World War II, one of the German death marches of Allied prisoners-of-war passed through the town. Sixty of the prisoners-of-war died at Gresse on 19 April 1945 in a "friendly fire" incident when strafed by a flight of Royal Air Force Hawker Typhoons which mistook them for retreating German soldiers.

Gresse es un municipio situado en el distrito de Ludwigslust-Parchim, en el estado federado de Mecklemburgo-Pomerania Occidental (Alemania), a una altura de 24 metros. Su población a finales de 2016 era de 692 habs. y su densidad poblacional, 33 hab/km². Se encuentra junto a la orilla norte del río Elba que lo separa de los estados de Baja Sajonia y Schleswig-Holstein.
