==History== Großensee was first mentioned as a municipality in 1248. After the annexation of Schleswig-Holstein by Prussia, Großensee became part of the newly founded Stormarn district and, with the introduction of the Prussian municipal constitution in 1889, became part of the Siek administrative district.
