Gus Bivona (November 25, 1915 - January 5, 1996) an American Musican played clarinet and saxaphone in the Big Bands of the 1930's and 1940's. His credits include stints with Benny Goodman, Les Brown and Tommy Dorsey. He became the Orchestra leader for comedian-composer Steve Allen on his televsion show. Gus formed his own Big Band in the 50's and 60's and released recordings on the MGM, Mercury and Warner Bros labels. To the best of my knowledge none of his work is currently available on
