The commercial district of Guthrie reflects the entire community and plays a crucial role in the local economy. For this reason, every resident has a stake in downtown’s future. Moreover, the success of Guthrie Main Street depends on the active participation of the entire community. Whether volunteering on committees, organizing events, shopping locally, or attending Main Street activities, these efforts collectively contribute to revitalizing downtown. Over the years, Guthrie Main Street has significantly contributed to the town’s revitalization. Since its inception, more than $1.7 million has been invested in downtown Guthrie through grants.
