Halblech ist eine Gemeinde im bayerisch-schwäbischen Landkreis Ostallgäu, die 1976 aus dem Zusammenschluss der Gemeinden Trauchgau und Buching entstand. Der Gemeindeteil Trauchgau ist Sitz der Gemeindeverwaltung. Sie ist die flächengrößte Gemeinde im Landkreis Ostallgäu und hat Anteil an den Ammergauer Alpen.
