Hanamakonda, officially known as Hanumakonda, is a major city and the district headquarters of Hanamkonda district in the Indian state of Telangana. It is about 150 KM away from the state Capital Hyderabad and about 7KM away from former district Head quarters Warangal. It is also one of the tri-city along with Warangal and Kazipet. The historic Thousand Pillar Temple is also located here.
