Harald Lesch (born July 20th 1960 in Gießen) is a German physicist, astronomer, philosopher, writer, TV host and professor of physics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. Lesch is famous for his appearances on TV, especially the series "alpha-Centauri", "Lesch & Co", "Denker des Abendlandes" (German for 'Thinkers of the occident') and "Alpha bis Omega" (German for 'From Alpha to Omega'), all hosted by him.
