British conductor and musician (1910–1999)
Harry Blech (born March 2, 1910 in London, † 9 May 1999) was a British violinist and conductor. Blech studied violin at Trinity College of Music with Sarah Fenwick, then at the Manchester College of Music with Arthur Catterall and finally in Prague with Otakar Ševčík. In 1929 and 1930 he was a member of the Halle Orchestra. In 1930 he joined the BBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by Adrian Boult.
