Hatebreed is an American metalcore band from New Haven, Connecticut, formed in 1994. The band released its debut album Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire in 1997, which gave the band a cult following. The band signed to Universal Records and released Perseverance in 2002, which hit the Billboard 200. The band is described to combine elements of hardcore and heavy metal. They have played a major role in the Connecticut hardcore scene.

Hatebreed - amerykańska grupa muzyczna wykonująca hardcore oraz metalcore. Powstała w 1994 roku z inicjatywy muzyków pochodzących z kapel Bridgeport i New Haven w stanie Connecticut. Zespół podczas nagrywania drugiego albumu Perseverance, przy aranżacji utworu Final Prayer zaprosił do zagrania solówki oraz do zaśpiewania w chórkach Kerry’ego Kinga z grupy Slayer. Wokalista grupy Jamey Jasta prowadził w stacji telewizyjnej MTV program Headbangers Ball.
