Hatebreeder es el segundo álbum de la banda finlandesa de death metal melódico Children of Bodom. En él, la banda explora un sonido más clásico con algunas influencias de power metal, predominante en los riff's de guitarra y notas altas. Este álbum contiene favoritas de conciertos, como «» y «». También es el único álbum de la banda que contiene dos canciones con la palabra "Bodom" en el nombre, siendo éstas Silent Night, Bodom Night y Children of Bodom. Los teclados muestran más aparición en este álbum, con solos más largos y elaborados que en su trabajo anterior, Something Wild. La "Deluxe Edition" fue lanzada en 2005 con material bonus.
