Hellyerite, NiCO3·6(H2O), is a hydrated nickel carbonate mineral. ==Occurrence== The environment of formation, associated only with metamorphosed ultramafic rocks, is diagnostic compared with gaspeite, another nickel carbonate which is associated with supergene weathering of nickel sulfides.
