== Geographical location == The town is located in the district of Darmstadt-Dieburg on the first foothills of the northern Odenwald, about 7 km northeast of Dieburg, on the Gersprenz, at an altitude of 130 m. The structure of the village with mostly gabled half-timbered houses from the 17th and 18th centuries is well preserved.
