Heteropoda (лат.) — род пауков из семейства Sparassidae. Они в основном распространены в тропической Азии и Австралии, но по крайней мере один вид, H. venatoria, является космополитом, а H. variegata встречается в Средиземноморье. Эти пауки ловят и едят насекомых, но в лабораторных условиях представители одного из видов охотно ели рыбу и головастиков, а H. venatoria, поедают скорпионов и летучих мышей. Наибольший вид в роде, H. maxima, имеет длину тела около 4,6 см, но в размахе ног достигает 30 сантиметров, что делает его крупнейшим современным пауком.

Heteropoda is a genus of spiders in the family Sparassidae (the huntsman spiders). They are mainly distributed in tropical Asia and Australia, while at least one species, H. venatoria, has a cosmopolitan distribution, and H. variegata occurs in the Mediterranean.
