Highly Evolved é o álbum de estreia da banda australiana de rock de garagem The Vines, lançado em julho de 2002. Produzido por Rob Schnapf, Highly Evolved foi uma estréia imensamente popular, parte de uma tendência pós-punk-inspirado garagem de bandas conhecidas, tanto para o hype implacável da imprensa da música britânica como para a sua música, The Vines foram freqüentemente comparado ao Nirvana. O single de estréia, "Highly Evolved", foi escolhido como o Single da semana pela influente revista de música britânica New Musical Express. Também votaram como o segundo melhor álbum do ano em 2002. O álbum também foi incluído no livro "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die". Highly Evolved já vendeu até hoje mais de 2 milhões de cópias no mundo todo.
