==Geography== Hostašovice is located about south of Nový Jičín and southwest of Ostrava. It lies mostly in the Moravian-Silesian Foothills, only the southern part of the municipal territory extends into the Moravian-Silesian Beskids (into the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area). The highest point is the hill Oprchlice at above sea level.
