HotJava
Sign in to saveHotJava (later called HotJava Browser to distinguish it from HotJava Views) was a modular, extensible web browser from Sun Microsystems implemented in Java. It was the first browser to support Java applets, and was Sun's demonstration platform for the then-new technology. It has since been discontinued and is no longer supported. Furthermore, the Sun Download Center was taken down on July 31, 2011, and the download link on the official site points to a placeholder page saying so.

HotJava（ホットジャバ）はサン・マイクロシステムズが開発したウェブブラウザ。 1995年にブラウザ上でJavaアプレットが実行できるウェブブラウザとして発表された。HotJava自身もJavaで開発されており、比較的拡張性が高い。個人で非商用目的の使用に限り、サン・マイクロシステムズのウェブサイトから無料でダウンロードできる。 現在ではInternet ExplorerやNetscapeなどの他のブラウザがJavaアプレットを実行できるようになり、HotJavaはほとんど普及していない。
