Hugo Helmig (24 July 1998 – 23 November 2022) was a Danish singer-songwriter. He grew up in Aarhus, Denmark as the son of musician Thomas Helmig and supermodel Renée Toft Simonsen. In 2017, he released his debut single, "Please Don't Lie", which would become one of the biggest Danish hits of the year.
