Hundested is a town with a population of 8,590 (1 January 2025) and a former municipality (Danish, kommune) in Region Hovedstaden in the northern part of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark.

Hundested è un centro abitato danese situato nella regione di Hovedstaden e appartenente al comune di Halsnæs. Dal 1º gennaio 2007, con l'entrata in vigore della riforma amministrativa, il comune è stato soppresso e accorpato, insieme al comune di Frederiksværk, per costituire il comune di Frederiksværk-Hundested.
