Curtis argumentiert, dass Regierungen, Finanziers und technologische Utopisten seit den 1970er Jahren die komplexe „reale Welt“ aufgegeben und eine einfachere „Fake-Welt“ aufgebaut haben, die von Unternehmen betrieben und von Politikern stabil gehalten wird. Der Film wurde am 16. Oktober 2016 auf dem BBC iPlayer veröffentlicht und ist 166 Minuten lang. Er hatte ein Budget von 35.000 €.
