James Hyde is a Blackpool-born musician, who is most noted as the lead guitarist and contributing songwriter for Blue Generation. He has also stood in as vocalist during the absence of their lead singer, despite not being a vocalist. He has also been in a couple of University-based bands, including Playing For Keeps and The Bismark Connection. He has also made guest appearances with Make It Better Later on guitar.
