James Wilkinson is best known internationally for his work in Europe and Australasia with the Celtic band Rua. At home in New Zealand, he is a familiar figur with his solo guitar performances. His exploration or the melodic and interpretive limits of the guitar has led him to create a wealth of alternative tunings and techniques that is an integral part of his unique and remarkable guitar style.
