Jane Austin Coop (born 18 April 1950) is a Canadian pianist and music pedagogue. She flew out of the gate with a series of wins at big international competitions before she was barely 20. Since then she's been a beloved teacher at the University of British Columbia, a collaborative pianist of rare sensitivity, a powerful interpreter of contemporary concerto repertoire and one of the most thoughtful and articulate pianists in Canada.
