Япиги́ды, или япиксы (лат. Japygidae) — семейство двухвосток (Diplura). Крыльев и глаз нет. Последний сегмент брюшка сильно склеротизирован, крупный, несёт короткие клещевидные церки. Ротовой аппарат грызущий, полностью погружён в головную капсулу. Усики длинные, нитевидные. Челюстной щупик состоит из 2 члеников. Лапки 1-члениковые. Грудь с 2 воротничковыми пресклеритами (дорсальным и вентральным) и 4 парами торакальных стигм. Хищники, нападающие на мелких почвенных членистоногих. Виды Австралии имеют длину 5-28 мм, вид Atlasjapyx atlas Chou et Huang из Китая — до 60 мм.

thumb The japygids (family Japygidae) are a taxon of hexapods, of the order Diplura, commonly known as forcepstails.
In this family, the paired cerci at the end of their abdomens are pincer-like (superficially similar to the unrelated earwigs) and are used to catch their tiny prey. Seventy genera are recognised, divided among seven subfamilies.
