Jessie ist eine US-amerikanische Fernsehserie der Walt Disney Company. Die Hauptrolle spielt Debby Ryan, die in Zack & Cody an Bord als Bailey Pickett bekannt wurde. Geschrieben wird die Serie von Pamela Eells O’Connell, die auch schon an der Produktion von Zack & Cody an Bord beteiligt war. Der erste Trailer zur Serie wurde während der Premiere des Disney Channel Original Movies Phineas und Ferb: Quer durch die 2. Dimension am 5. August 2011 gezeigt. Sie wurde von dem 30. September 2011 bis hin zum 16. Oktober 2015 in den USA auf dem Disney Channel ausgestrahlt. Im Dezember 2012 wurde ein Crossover zwischen Jessie und Austin & Ally ausgestrahlt, daher spielen die beiden Serien im selben Serienuniversum. Das Crossover wird allerdings nur als Austin-&-Ally-Episode gezählt. In der Folge Karate Kid-tastrophe tauchen das Tipton-Hotel und dessen Manager Mr. Moseby aus der Serie Hotel Zack & Cody auf, wobei Moseby eine Anspielung auf die beiden Hauptcharaktere macht: "Ich musste mich sechs Jahre mit nervtötenden Zwillingen rumschlagen, davon drei auf einem Kreuzfahrtschiff!"
