==Name== According to Paul Whalley, the name Jhīñjhak is derived from a reduplicated form of jhān (a common variant of standard Hindi jhāṛ ("bushes, undergrowth"; ultimately from Sanskrit jhāṭa), with the pleonastic suffix -ka at the end.
