Jiquilpan Municipality

Jiquilpan (; also spelled Xiuquilpan, Xiquilpan, Xiquilpa, based on a Náhuatl word for "place of tint plants") is a municipality in the Mexican state of Michoacán. Its municipal seat is Jiquilpan de Juárez.
