Johann Stadlmayr (* around 1575 probably in Freising, Bavaria ; † July 12, 1648 in Innsbruck, Tyrol) was a South German composer and Salzburg court conductor. Nothing is known about the education and youth of Johann Stadlmayr. In 1603 he was employed as a musician in the court orchestra of the Salzburg prince -archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau ; to this he dedicated ten Magnificat ( Sacrum Beatissimae Virginis Mariae canticum ).
