John O'Neill is an established performing musician and instrumental teacher, specialising in jazz and bossa nova. He is best known as the author of educational books for saxophone, clarinet and flute, including the best-selling »Jazz Method For Saxophone«. Having first taken up the saxophone while a student of Modern Languages at Trinity College, Oxford, he went on to play the flute and clarinet, studying woodwinds with Don Rendell and improvisation with Lee Konitz, Warne Marsh and Peter Ind.
